About the role
As a Mechanical Designer, you will have varied days. You work project-based and are part of the product's journey from start to finish. This means working on concept development, meetings with project managers, CAD drawing, and testing both in the lab and outdoors.
You will work on developing new products and improving existing products with new features or enhancements.
To generate your 3D models, you will use Catia V5. You are expected to drive, plan, and manage the work within the projects independently and responsibly, as well as maintain contact with various functions such as labs, calculations, and external partners.

In the role of mechanical designer, we are looking for someone who has:
We see that you are educated in mechanical engineering or mechanical design, preferably with a focus on product development and design. You can be newly graduated or have a few years of experience, preferably within consumer products so that you have experience of how similar product development processes look.
We place great importance on your personal qualities, and as a person, you are inventive, curious, creative, as well as driven and engaged. It is also important that you dare to ask your surroundings to move forward and to learn from the existing experience.
Requirements
- At least a bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on product development, mechanics, and strength
- Documented design experience of injection-molded plastic components
- Fluent in Swedish & English, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
- Experience with PDM systems
- Experience in 3D modeling in Catia V5, solid and surface modeling
- Knowledge of dimensioning with geometric tolerances
- Experience in cost estimation at the detail and product level
- Experience in driving method development for product testing and product development
- Experience in validation testing
